The slow reports are just as specific: about 40 minutes for a full basket from two cups of water, over an hour for a full basket, an hour and a half to make ice, and almost two hours for about a cup.
None of these owners says how warm the room or the water was, and both affect how fast any ice maker works.
Two owners also found ice heaping under the chute trips the full signal early. One stirs the basket about every ten minutes to keep it running, and another knocks the pile down.
The ice

Measure your clearance against the photos and allow room for the cover to lift.
A four-star owner found it bulkier than expected, and another says the lid gives no positive click when it closes.

Durability is this machine’s weak point in the reviews. Owners describe units that stopped or began failing after a couple of weeks, about a month, and two, three, four and five months, and one that lasted just over a year.
One owner bought the same model three times: the first lasted a year, the second five months and the third four months. The recurring pattern is a new noise or slushy ice, followed by a machine that stops making ice.

It is also slow to fill for many owners, loud for some, and more than a dozen of its 130 written reviews describe it failing within about a year. Buy it for the ice, expect to empty the basket and refill the tank often, and keep the receipt.
